Carlson Hughes Sales Consultancy was launched with the aim of recruiting talented individuals for the Sales industry. The business is staffed by senior professionals who have cumulative industry knowledge of over 50 years within the sales recruitment arena.

We believe the key to our future success is the quality of our candidate base. To ensure we attract and retain the right people, we undertake a rigorous assessment- process including:
  • An in-depth assessment to establish the candidate's tone of voice, their telephone manner, their 'selling' skills, their attitude and what type of vertical market they have worked in and would best fit their skill's set


  • Establishing the candidate's career history, including previous salary levels and reasons for leaving previous employers

  • Their capabilities and skills


  • Their aspirations for the future and the culture they best fit


  • Two verbal references are taken (where possible)


  • Psychometric Assessments can be carried out at clients' request (at an extra cost)
