Position  Commercial Projects and Events Manager/Exec
Location  Central London
Salary  Up to £40k
Bonus  + £15k - £20k OTE
Start Date  ASAP

Our client based in Central London is a well known business to business publishing house. They are currently looking to recruit a Commercial Projects and Events Executive for their Retail division.

 

The role will work across 4 sectors of their leading Retail brands and sits side-by-side with the company’s events organisers and editors.  This is an unusual position that requires a very commercially aware individual to work closely with Commercial Directors to deliver projects they have sold to sponsors and advertisers, ensuring that sponsors are well managed and that all of their expectations are met.

 

The successful Commercial Projects and Events Executive will also work closely with editors to ensure that they are fully involved in every aspect of the planning on all commercial projects.  This role is the lynch pin that makes things happen. 

 

Candidates should posses the following attributes:-

 

·         Commercially savvy with excellent communication skills both written and verbal

·         Entrepreneurial, someone that can solve problems and issues with bags of bravado and confidence

·         Someone that has the gravitas to negotiate commercial partnerships as contras deals against the company’s leading brands

·         Someone that has a working knowledge of events and sponsorship

·         Strong sales and organisation ability
