Senior Sales Consultant – Media Evaluation
£40k - £45k Basic + Uncapped Commission OTE £80k Based in Central London

About the Role
We are now looking to recruit a Senior Sales Consultant for their established and market leading Media Evaluation division. This is a newly created role. Clients typically access their evaluation via the web where they can perform searches, edit results, add commentary, download or forward results. Reporting directly to the Sales Director, the role will operate independently and would be expected to close business with an annual value of above £750k per annum.
The main purpose of the role will be to
- Identify and serviced requirements of key prospects through understanding their business needs and offering solutions and selling ‘big ticket’ media evaluation packages and licenses
- Identify and engage with senior level decision makers from within well established PR Agencies and Corporate Communications Heads from large Corporations
- Maintain relationships beyond the point of sales to ensure repeat business
- Develop and build a pipeline of new prospects
- Develop strong internal relationships to leverage existing knowledge, relationships and lead generation
- Close in excess of £750k per annum
- Although office based, you will be expected to spend a large amount of time going out to see clients, present to them and close deals
- You will be expected to operate and sell into key sectors such as: Banking and Financials, Consumer / FMCG and Government
Candidate Requirements
- Success in meeting and exceeding sales / revenue targets in a B 2 B environment
- Experience of working within / selling Business Information is essential
- Proven track record of winning new accounts
- Track record of complex sales across large enterprises
- Very strong interpersonal skills and comfortable / effective networking with senior executives
- Sound presentation skills – must have experience of working on PowerPoint
- Experience of working in online media and knowledge of pod cats and broadcasting and media evaluation is preferable
