Our client is an international market leading organisation who provide Media Intelligence and Analysis on behalf of Corporates (FTSE 100’s and Fortune 500’s), PR Agencies and Organizations who seek to reach the news media, investment community and the general public with their up to the minute free text news developments.  Established for over 50 years, they have an international presence and an impressive client base of “blue chip” organisations.

About the Role

Our client is now looking to recruit a Business Development Manager for Spain. This role is based in Central London and is a newly created role. You will be required to build a new pipeline of clients to sell a range of on-line services and solutions including: Online News / Real Time Information, Contact Information Media Monitoring and Media Evaluation to large PR Agencies and Corporates with the aim of establishing the company as the supplier of choice for their news distribution service. Although the bulk of selling will be done over the phone and on line from London, you will be required to set up business meetings in Spain order to meet with clients and close deals.

Candidate Requirements

• Must have experience of selling to Corporates or PR Agencies
• Fluency in Spanish is essential along with experience of selling to Spain in a Business 2 Business capacity
• Must have experience of exceeding sales targets and working to KPI’s
• Self starter
• Experience of working in media intelligence, business intelligence or B 2 B media is preferable
• Goal Orientated
• Excellent presenter (as you will be required to go out and present to Companies)
• Excellent closing skills
